Arty Party Wreathmaking Workshop a Rousing Success!
Dec 18th, 2007 by Elizabeth
On a snowy Sunday afternoon recently, five friends gathered in the posh party room of the hostess’ apartment building to participate in their very first Arty Party workshop. After some simple instruction, these women, who had never before attempted to make their own wreaths, created splendid works of art which are sure to add tons of flair to their holiday decor. Participants remarked on the beautiful designs they developed, surprised at their newly discovered talent! It was a successful workshop and a fabulous afternoon of fun, which concluded with the ladies enjoying wine, delicious goodies and a good chat. All proclaimed this Arty Party an excellent way to re-connect with friends at the holidays! Thank you ladies, for your pleasant company, your wonderful ideas and support of Arty Party! Happy Holidays!

This sounds like a lot of fun! I’d love to see some photos of the wreaths you folks came up with.
I failed art in high school, so I never thought I could design anything myself - but I was wrong. The Christmas wreath I created at Arty Party is beautiful - thanks to Elizabeth. She’s a patient teacher and with her guidance I learned about colour schemes, asymmetrical pattern and how to put everything together.
Elizabeth:
I really enjoyed Arty Party’s Christmas wreath-making party. It was a fun way to get together with my friends. Plus we each got to take home our own unique creations.
I’m sure my friends would love to learn how to make personalized greeting cards. And seasonal centrepieces. And jewelry. All we need is someone to guide us.
What better excuse to throw a party?
